Glow-worm launches LPG boiler

Glow-worm, the boiler manufacturer based in Derbyshire for 85 years, is adding to its range of Energy boilers with the addition of a LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) model. This model is available as a combination model with a 30kW output.

With cupboard fit dimensions, a choice of controls and super quiet operation, the Energy LPG boiler is a great option for the four million British homes that are not currently connected to the mains gas grid. The Energy LPG offers lower running costs and higher efficiency than an oil boiler and a lower capital outlay than a heat pump, so it’s a great option for off-grid locations.

Steve Keeton, Technologies Director, said, “We appreciate that some 15% of the UK population are in off-gas areas so it’s very important to be able to offer these customers an LPG boiler. The Energy LPG combi model offers all of the great features expected from Energy boilers, including a high-quality automotive grade aluminium heat exchanger and a modulating Grundfos pump. Glow-worm also offers a good range of controls to choose from to complete the system to ensure compliance with Boiler Plus regulations.”

The Energy LPG boiler is a dedicated LPG model that comes factory set with no adjustments required. It is also has the benefit of a free seven year guarantee out of the box when the installation is registered through Club Energy.
