Originally founded as The Glow-worm Boiler and Fireplace Co Ltd, we first started producing boilers in 1934 at the Derwent Foundry in Derbyshire, utilising the strong currents of the River Derwent to drive the manufacturing plant.

In 1966, we built an additional assembly facility in Belper to support the introduction and increased demand for domestic gas central heating boilers. We continue to remain close to our Derbyshire roots, with the Belper facility becoming home to Glow-worm's head office and manufacturing plant.
